Whiting Auditorium facilities are available for rentals and can be used for a wide variety of events including dance recitals, touring performances, music performances of all kinds, lectures, community theatre, corporate meetings, receptions, graduations, weddings, and more. 

Whiting Auditorium is a callback to 1960s Flint, with unique architectural and sculptural elements adorning the lobby and auditorium. It opened in 1969 and was renovated in 1999. Whiting Auditorium has a proscenium-style theater with 2,043 seats and a 55 wide x 35 deep stage. Whiting Auditorium also has an adjacent lobby, dressing and green rooms, and both bar and concession service available at the orchestra level lobby and on the mezzanine. We also offer a trained and talented staff that is standing by to make your next event a huge success.
