Elgood Theatre
FIM has two venues and additional spaces in the William S. and Claire M. White Center that are available for rentals and can be used for performances, meetings, community events, and more.
The Center is home to the Elgood Theatre, a black box performance space built in 2000 with intimate and flexible seating for 130, surrounding the stage in a U shape. The Elgood’s space can also be utterly transformed from floor to ceiling for any production.
The Center also houses the Bower Theatre, which opened in 1957 as an arts and culture space for Flint’s community and proudly displays a commissioned sculpture detailing the Theatre’s history. It seats 352 and has a proscenium stage.
These two theaters, plus two studio spaces, can be paired in a few ways to serve midsize events and conferences. The venues are also available for singular rentals, providing a perfect setting for small, intimate events.
We offer a trained and talented staff that is standing by to make your next event a huge success.
