Andrew Buckley, clarinet
Transcending Traditions
FSPA clarinet instructor Andrew Buckley celebrates the storied legacy of the clarinet by exploring the repertoire beyond the traditional mainstream with selected works for only clarinet and fixed electronics.
The works are paired with video and multimedia elements in order to bring the listener deeper into the stories the piece tells, contrasting the typical classical concert experience.
Pieces will include Jacob TV’s Garden of Love, Nikola Resanovic’s Alt.Music. Ballistix, and Steve Reich’s monumental work N.Y. Counterpoint, amongst others!
