X’ydee (ex-uh-dee) Alexander (Peacock/Parrot/Commissioner/Poseidon) is a Detroit transplant, originally from Los Angeles. She began her training at Detroit Repertory Theatre’s Workshop and soon after made her stage debut there as Piper in Season 67, Annabella in July. Since then, she has appeared as Opal in Fat Ham at Detroit Public Theatre, as well as Dussie Mae in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Mia in Hysterical!, and Ruthie in Covenant, all at Detroit Rep. X’ydee is thrilled to be making her debut with Flint Repertory Theatre. She would like to give special thanks to Cassandra Svacha and Leah Smith for believing in her and pushing her to grow as an artist, and most importantly, to her parents for their endless love and guidance.
