Shelby R. Seeley (Director) is a director and new work developer from “Downriver” Michigan. She is thrilled to return to Flint Repertory Theatre for the seventh time, with past credits including Tragedy Sound, Funny Like HAHA (Readings); Death of a Salesman, Wrong River, Happy Days (Assistant Director); and The Future is Female (Playwright’s Assistant). She is Producing Artistic Director at Theatre NOVA, where she directed In Search of the Mothman and Death of a Driver. Other directing credits include the 48th Samuel French [OOB] Short Play Festival, Open Book Theatre, BoxFest Detroit, Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre, and more. From 2017-23, she served as Director of Theatre at Patrick Henry Middle School. A Yale-certified director, Shelby is grateful for kayaking, gardening, and making art with collaborators and audiences.
