The annual Emerging Choreographers Showcase took place on February 21 in MacArthur Recital Hall at Dort Music Center. The performance, which is a culmination of months of work by student choreographers and their casts of fellow students, featured three pieces choreographed by contestants, plus a piece created by professional dancer and guest choreographer, Lauren Difede.

The three student pieces, which were critiqued by guest adjudicator Michael Means, will each be featured at the Festival of Dance, May 1-2 at the UM-Flint Theatre.
