Peggy Sparks
Peggy Sparks has been a dance instructor with the Flint School of Performing Arts since 2019. Peggy is an experienced dancer who has been involved in ballet through most of her youth and adult life. She danced with numerous dance schools throughout her youth and was a student at FSPA in her teenage years.
Upon graduating high school in 2005, Peggy continued her education at Oakland University. She graduated in the spring of 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts with a concentration in theater management. In September of the same year, she moved to California with her fiancĂ©e and was later married.
Peggy revisited FSPA in 2013 to participate in the Adult Ballet Ensemble and returned in 2016 after moving back to Michigan. Peggy has now danced with the Adult Ballet Ensemble for 4 years and has danced as the Mrs. Stahlbaum in the Flint Institute of Music’s presentation of The Nutcracker. Peggy has also worked with FSPA as a dance substitute instructor and has been active with altering, repairing, or recreating costumes for the Flint Youth Ballet.
Peggy lives in Davison, Michigan with her husband, two kids, and dog.
