Voice. Lateena Martin is a classically trained, incredibly versatile professional vocalist of the highest caliber. Lateena earned her Bachelor of Music and Master’s degree in Vocal Music Performance from Michigan State University.

During her undergraduate studies, Lateena’s versatility and dynamic range led her to being cast in numerous roles with the MSU Opera Theatre, including Hansel & Gretel, Trial by Jury, Orpheus and Aeneas, and the musical Nine. As a graduate student, she played Musetta in La Boheme. Mrs. Martin has performed throughout Michigan in a variety of genres and venues, including the Detroit International Jazz Festival and as backing vocalist for the legendary George Benson. Mrs. Martin has also become a sought after vocalist, performing our country’s National Anthem at numerous sporting events.

Mrs. Martin has chosen a life and career devoted to the worship and ministering of the gospel through her musical gifts. She currently functions as the praise and worship leader at Kingdom Living Church where she ministers weekly, and is currently working on material for the release of her solo worship/gospel music project.
