Jonathan Carmona is a board-certified music therapist and a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. He received his Bachelor of Music Therapy degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2005. He is a member of Michigan Music Therapists and the American Music Therapy Association. Jonathan’s passion for music, helping others, and the pursuit of meaningful interaction through the experience of music has been a driving force throughout his career. Prior to and throughout his music therapy career, he has performed with various music groups, instructed private music lessons, composed/collaborated original music, and worked as a session musician for other artists. Jonathan’s areas of specialty are digital music production (beat making/recording), adaptive instrument instruction, music education, culture, and appreciation.
