Elle Ward began her teaching journey as a student assistant for FSPA dance classes. She has experience teaching Early Childhood, Children’s Ballet and Modern, and Adult classes; she has also worked with FSPA Ensembles as Assistant to the Director for Children’s Ballet Ensemble and Youth Dance Ensemble.

Elle grew up dancing at the Flint School of Performing Arts, where she trained with American Ballet Theatre-certified instructors. As a member of Flint Youth Ballet, FSPA’s most advanced performing dance ensemble, she performed in Giselle, Serenade, and had a featured role in Peter and the Wolf. Another performance highlight has been performing multiple roles in FIM’s production of The Nutcracker. From this experience training at FSPA, Elle has a rare perspective and understanding of the program. As an instructor, she aims to create a welcoming environment and inspire young students by showing the diversity of a dancer’s journey. She looks forward to continuing her education and gaining teaching experience at FSPA.
