In March and April, Flint Repertory Theatre and UM-Flint joined forces to stage a first-of-its-kind co-promoted show, in which professional Flint Rep artists worked side by side with student actors, designers and crew in the UM-Flint Department of Fine and Performing Arts. The experience was impactful for professionals and students alike, and an opportunity for Flint Rep to strengthen community connections and support arts education locally. As an extension of that effort, we’re proud to reprint the following article, written by freshman business and entrepreneurship student Maxwell Loxton.
