Chris Joseph (Angel) is a lifelong performer, award-winning regional actor, and professional singer. He is “over the moon” to make his mainstage debut at Flint Repertory Theatre, having previously performed in five Ghost Light Cabarets, including one he directed. This marks Chris’ third time portraying Angel in RENT, a role that holds a special place in his heart. Other credits include Moritz in Spring Awakening, Richie in A Chorus Line, and Moritz in Falsettos. Chris is also the lead male vocalist of Accidentally Hip, a swing band based in Ann Arbor. Offstage, Chris supervises teachers in the Washtenaw Intermediate School District and is a proud single father to a daughter. He is grateful to share Angel’s story once again. “No day but today!”
