Brian Sullivan Taylor (Stanley) is a native of Southfield, Michigan with experience in theatre, film, commercial, print, and voiceover. Brian made his professional theatre debut in 2017, in Detroit Public Theatre’s award-nominated production of Dominique Morrisseau’s Skeleton Crew. Brian is a SAG-AFTRA actor, who serves as adjunct faculty at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and is an acting coach at his own studio, the Detroit Drama Studio. Brian is the only certified coach in the Midwest to train actors in the Ivana Chubbuck technique, “The Power of the Actor”. In October of 2023, he made his directorial debut at Tipping Point Theatre with their production of Driving Miss Daisy. As much fun as directing was for Brian, he is happy to be back in the actor’s chair in the role of Stanley Plummer in the Flint Repertory Theatre’s world premiere production of Into the Side of a Hill.
