Madelyn Porter
Madelyn Porter (Actor) has worked as a professional actor for over forty years. She is a member of Actor’s Equity Association, recipient of the 2019 Kresge Arts in Detroit – Literary Arts Award, performs Storyliving at the Detroit Historical Museum, The Henry Ford/Greenfield Village, and Troy Historical Village. Porter is House Manager for Detroit Public Theatre, lead drama instructor for Michigan Opera Theatre’s Create and Perform, Writer in Residence/drama instructor for InsideOut Literary Arts/Youth Arts Alliance, Board Member – Carrie Morris Arts Production, and director of Hamtramck Public School District – Cultural Awareness Through the Arts Program. Porter was recently seen in Flint Rep’s New Works Festival Readings, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds and several FYT productions. “I am proud to be a Flint Rep Associate Artist.
