Kathryn Walsh (Director) is a Chicago-based director, teacher and coach, whose directing work has been seen multiple times at Flint Rep (The Effect of Gamma-Rays on Man-in-the-Marigolds, The Wolves, Balloonacy. )Other theatres include: TheatreWorks Colorado Springs, Filament Theatre, Pavement Group, Orfeo Group, Two Pence Theatre Company, Steep Theatre, Next Theatre. As a text and verse coach, Kathryn has coached multiple productions for Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. As a director, her work spans old and new plays. Her focus is always on creating a healthy, functional, empowering process for all her collaborators. Kathryn received her MFA in Directing from Northwestern University, where she has directed multiple productions, taught and served as the Program Mentor for the MFA Directing Program from 2015-2109.
