Elizabeth Philippi teaches intermediate and advanced ballet and pointe technique at FIM Flint School of Performing Arts and is Ballet Mistress for Nutcracker at Flint Youth Ballet. She grew up studying ballet in the Chicago area and then at FSPA, where she was an original member of Flint Youth Ballet. Mrs. Philippi is an ABT® Certified Teacher who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3.

Mrs. Philippi danced professionally with Tulsa Ballet Theatre and became a principal dancer with Dayton Ballet. Some of her favorite ballets to perform include The Merry Widow, Pas De Quatre, Giselle, Carmen and Carmina Burana. In addition to teaching at FSPA for the past 25 years, Philippi also enjoys choreographing for Flint Youth Ballet. Previous works include Peasant Suite, Double Dog Dare Ya, Plink! Plank! Plunk!, Peter and the Wolf, The Journey Is a Labyrinth Within and Candide, as well as Arabian in the Nutcracker. She is also Ballet Mistress for Nutcracker and Flint Youth Ballet.
