Instrumental music instructor 37 years, the last 27 as band director for Holly Area Schools prior to retirement in 2012. Emeritus member of the Michigan School Band & Orchestra Association. Served as vice president for band & orchestra, solo & ensemble and marching band festivals for MSBOA District 3. Adjudicator for MSBOA band, orchestra and solo festivals. Member of the Genesee Wind Symphony, Flint Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Owosso Swing Band.
