Revel in the Journey with FSO’s 2023-24 season – you won’t have to travel far to have this adventure. Tour the world with some of the most prolific composers in classical music, starting with Germany’s own Brahms & Beethoven. Spin the globe to enjoy the sights and sounds of America, including a tone poem of the Grand Canyon. Heavy-hitting Russian composers Borodin, Mussorgsky and Tchaikovsky will tantalize the senses. Enjoy depictions of Roman festivals, fountains and pines right from the comfort of your seat. Hop over to Spain with evocative masterpieces from da Falla, Rodrigo and Ravel. The season’s journey concludes with a final stop in the Middle Ages with Carl Orff’s timeless Carmina Burana, featuring 13th century texts on fortune and wealth and the ephemeral nature of life.
