From North or South

Follow I-75 or US-23 to I-69 East, then take I-475 North to Exit 8A/Longway Boulevard. Once you exit, turn right (East) on Robert T. Longway Blvd., then turn right on Walnut Street, and finally turn right into Whiting Auditorium parking lot.

From East or West
Take I-69 North to I-475 and exit at 8A/Longway Boulevard. Turn right (East) onto Robert T. Longway Blvd. and then turn right onto Walnut Street. Finally, turn right into Whiting Auditorium parking lot.

Parking

Surface lot parking north of the building is complimentary and includes a number of handicapped spaces. Paid valet is available for $15 per vehicle at most FIM events (with a $.50 convenience fee added for credit cards). Encore Club Donors of $1,500+ receive a parking pass that entitles them to park on a first come, first served basis in a reserved section of the surface lot for Flint Symphony Orchestra performances and FIM Presents at Whiting Auditorium events only. This lot is staffed by FIM security throughout the duration of an event. Additional parking may be available at the adjacent Cultural Center Campus lots including at the Flint Cultural Center Academy, Sloan Museum, Longway Planetarium, Elgood Theatre, FIM Dort Music Center (north lot, entrance on Crapo Street) and street parking. 

Please allow at least 1/2 an hour prior to performance to park and get to your seat.
