Young Musicians Instructor

The Flint School of Performing Arts is looking for a Young Musicians Instructor to teach the Young Musicians classes for children 3-7 years, grouped by age. Students learn age appropriate music fundamentals through singing, moving and games while exploring a variety of instruments in these classes. The instruction format may vary depending on the current Michigan Department of Health and Human Service guidelines, but may include online, dual-format or in-person settings. Classes are scheduled on Saturday mornings between September 2021 – May 2022.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Field and related teaching experience, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse population

Compensation and Benefit Information:

  • Competitive Rate Package
  • Non - Exempt
