Voice Instructor

The Flint School of Performing Arts is looking for a Voice Instructor to grow and diversify vocal opportunities offered to students. The Voice instructor will teach a diverse population of children to adults from beginning to advanced levels in a variety of genres; including gospel, jazz, pop and more. The individual will be expected to teach private lessons and voice classes as well. The Instructor may have an opportunity to teach through FSPA’s community partnerships. The instruction format may vary depending on the current Michigan Department of Health and Human Service guidelines, but may include online, dual-format or in-person settings.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Field and related teaching experience, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse population
