Supervisor: Public Safety/Building Operations Supervisor MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK MUST HAVE A VALID MICHIGAN DRIVER'S LICENSE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE WITH VARYING SHIFTS
Conduct foot patrols of the building and grounds
Conduct motor patrols of the grounds
Respond to customer requests
Ensure building is secure
Maintain necessary reports and logs
Assist in room set ups and take downs
Serve as back up to Building Cleaning staff as needed in cases of emergency
Other duties as assigned
Attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external staff/patrons
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Talent for dealing with the public and volunteers
Ability to maintain a calm and cheerful manner when under pressure
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to walk for repeated periods of time
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
High school diploma required
Security or public safety experience preferred
Customer service experience preferred
