Village People are one of the most iconic music groups in the world, selling over 100 million records worldwide. Their music has been featured in movies, on Broadway, and in commercials. Their most popular song is “Y.M.C.A,” which is played at many events worldwide. The group started as Victor Willis with session singers, but soon added live musicians and became an international phenomenon. Willis left and returned to the group several times over the years, and a touring version of the group without Willis continued into the 2000s. However, since Willis’ return in 2017, the group has become more popular than ever, and they continue to perform to sold-out audiences worldwide.
