Patton Oswalt continues to leave his distinctive imprint across all areas of entertainment, from his award-winning comedy specials to his many roles in film and television. His most recent comedy special, We All Scream, marked his directorial debut, and the album was subsequently nominated for a Grammy. In 2022, he starred in the Magnolia Pictures comedy I Love My Dad, winner of the Grand Jury and Audience awards at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival.
Oswalt has appeared in many films, including Jason Reitman’s film Young Adult, starring opposite Charlize Theron, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Zoolander, Steven Soderbergh’s The Informant, Paul Thomas Anderson’s Magnolia, Todd Phillips’ Starsky and Hutch, and many others.
Oswalt’s past television work includes memorable roles on Parks and Recreation, which brought him a TV Critics Choice Award, A.P. Bio, Veep, United States of Tara, Seinfeld, and many more. He garnered significant critical and commercial acclaim for his role of Spence on The King of Queens, as well as for his voice acting as Remy – the main character in Pixar’s Oscar-winning animated feature Ratatouille.
In 2020, Oswalt’s Emmy-nominated Netflix special I Love Everything was widely celebrated upon release, and he received a Grammy nomination for his comedy album of the same name. In 2017, he received Emmy and Grammy nominations for his Netflix special Annihilation and corresponding album, in which he addresses the devastating loss of his wife. In all, he has been nominated for a total of six Grammys and four Emmys. Oswalt has shot eight comedy specials and released seven critically renowned albums.

The beautiful and historic FIM Capitol Theatre presents some unique accessibility challenges. It is strongly recommended that you discuss your accessibility needs with your Patron Services Representative prior to purchasing your ticket. Capitol Theatre balcony is NOT accessible by elevator. Wheelchair and walker accessible seating is on the Main level only. The balcony is up two flights of stairs (21 steps), with an additional 15 steps down to the seating area.

No Re-entry. Once your ticket has been scanned, please plan to stay and enjoy the entire performance. Patrons will not be allowed to re-enter.
