Early Childhood Music Instructor

The Flint School of Performing Arts is looking for a Early Childhood Music Instructor to teach Music Makers classes for children ages birth – 5 years and a caregiver. Our interactive class introduces melodies, rhythms, and sounds while incorporating singing, chanting, moving, and dancing, based on the Gordon Music Learning Theory techniques. The instruction format may vary depending on the current Michigan Department of Health and Human Service guidelines, but may include online, dual-format or in-person settings. Weekday and Saturday classes are scheduled between September 2021 and May 2022.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Field and related teaching experience, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse population

Compensation and Benefit Information:

  • Competitive Rate Package
  • Non - Exempt
