Nurture your child’s musical ability in this fun, exciting and innovative music and movement class. Early Childhood Music gives you and your child the opportunity to creatively explore a variety of musical ideas and possibilities, all while encouraging genuine enthusiasm for music at your little one’s most vital time of development. You also play an important role in this fun and interactive class. Each child receives a tote bag with a CD and other musical equipment.
The Early Childhood Music Program is based on the Gordon Music Learning Theory. To find out more about the approach, please visit www.giml.org/earlychildhood.php.

| Current studies, like The Gifts of the Muse: Reframing the Debate about the Benefits of the Arts by the Rand Corporation, show that the arts are an important building block for learning and development. Exposing very young children to music can later help in the development of basic reading skills.
